By signing a contract with the Ports and Airports Development and Management Company of the Qeshm Free Zone, we have undertaken the management, operation, cargo handling, warehousing, and auxiliary services of general cargo and containers at this port for a period of three years starting from mid-2024. This operation includes the use of a total of 7 warehouses with a combined area of 14,900 square meters, a cargo handling yard covering 55,800 square meters, 12 units of port equipment, and a team of 46 skilled and dedicated personnel.

Features and Capacities of Bahman Port, Qeshm

Bahman Port of Qeshm, with 6 berths totaling 642 meters in length and 40 meters in width, includes:

• 3 Commercial Berths
• 1 Passenger Berth
• 1 Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) Berth
• 1 Tourism Berth

It has a water depth of 5.5 meters at low tide and is capable of accommodating various types of vessels, including dhows, landing crafts, barges, tugboats, passenger vessels, and recreational boats.

In this port:

• There are 200 motorized dhows operating in the area, with capacities ranging from 60 to 550 tons.
• 12,200 square meters of covered warehouse space
• 1,000 square meters of refrigerated warehouse space
• 4,500 square meters of hangar warehouse space
• 6,000 square meters of open storage yard
• 15,500 square meters of container storage area

Investment by Artin Banader Arvand Company

Artin Arvand Ports Company, with an investment of 1,100 billion rials, has acquired equipment including:

• Cranes with capacities ranging from 10 to 150 tons
• Forklifts with capacities of 3 to 7 tons
• One 42-ton reach stacker
• Five tractor trucks
• Office furniture and other necessary equipment

These have been supplied to equip the terminal at Bahman Port, Qeshm. As the first official operator of this port, the company is currently managing unloading and loading operations, cargo handling, warehousing of goods, containers, and vehicles.

Comprehensive Port Operations Software

One of the company’s key achievements in this project is the design and implementation of a comprehensive port operations software, developed in collaboration with the Ports and Airports Development and Management Company of the Qeshm Free Zone. This software aims to:
