آروشا 1، بزرگ‌ترین فلت بارج ایران، نمادی از پیشرفت صنعت دریایی کشور است که با سرمایه‌گذاری  شرکت آرتین بنادر اروند ساخته شده است. این شناور عظیم که در بندر خرمشهر و به شماره 500723 به ثبت رسیده، در سال 1403 با موفقیت تکمیل و به بهره‌برداری رسید.

With a length of 100 meters, width of 28 meters, depth of 6.5 meters and height of 9 meters, Arusha 1 has a cargo capacity of up to 12,000 tons. The hull of this vessel, built by Ziba Shanaveran Company under the order of Artin Bandar Arvand, utilizes wide marine-grade steel sheets that guarantee its high strength and durability. The vessel's 4.8-meter draft makes it ideal for transporting heavy and bulky cargo across various waterways.

Construction of this vessel began in 2021 over a 21-month period with the participation of Tose'e Ta'avon Bank and financial support from the country's Maritime Industries Development Fund. The design and drawings were the responsibility of Karafan Marine Company, with final certification issued by Asia Classification Society. The construction technology of Arusha 1 includes advanced technologies accessible to only a few countries worldwide.

This vessel is responsible for transporting various types of cargo and heavy containers in different packaging formats, and as a national achievement, represents a major step in the development of Iran's maritime transportation. Additionally, Arusha 1 has created significant employment opportunities during the design, construction and operation phases, and has had a remarkable impact on the country's economic and industrial prosperity.
