ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) has unveiled the United Arab Emirates\u2019 first long-range, fully uncrewed amphibious landing craft\u2014a milestone expected to reshape the future of offshore logistics.<\/p>\n
According to Artin News, citing MarineLink, the 60-meter vessel is engineered to enhance safety, boost operational efficiency, and dramatically reduce emissions in offshore operations, representing a major leap forward for the maritime logistics sector.<\/p>\n
Developed in partnership with SeaOwl and officially introduced during Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week 2025, the craft is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence systems, satellite-based control, and remote-operation capabilities managed from ADNOC\u2019s command center in Musaffah. The complete removal of crew accommodation significantly reduces weight, improves fuel efficiency, and enables continuous, round-the-clock operations.<\/p>\n
As part of the technology\u2019s development roadmap, two prototypes are scheduled for construction by the end of 2025, with delivery expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. Subsequent sea trials and safety validation will take place in UAE waters. The onboard AI systems also ensure the vessel can safely continue autonomous operations even if communication is temporarily lost.<\/p>\n
